As the moon gravity becomes stronger, it gets closer to the earth, then 'Madd' (Tide) happens. As the moon gets closer, 'Madd' will reach a new height washing the shores and allowing the stranded to pass. Madd is a band that revives the tunes of Syrian and Arabic musical heritage. Three musicians are the pillars of Madd, two of them are from Syria, and the third from Germany, each shaped by his own experience with different musical styles: classical Arabic music, Jazz, Fusion and experimental music.

Madd plays classical and modern music from the Middle East and Syria and seeks to reach the largest group of listeners by touching people's lives with their strong connection to a fine musical culture in the tradition of their home.
